Lewes Hike and Bike Festival was a programme of events, walks and rides in and around the South Downs National Park to help people learn about the natural environment and the country side around Lewes.
I created a clear graphic style that ran across every aspect of the Festival. Promotion took a multi media approach and included a bespoke website, social media platforms, print, large scale adverts and editorial.
Central to the campaign was the use of three words: Discover, Explore and Join. Together these words summarised the ethos of the Festival and acted as a repeated “call to arms’ across the all publicity.
Festival partners included National Lottery, South Downs National Park Authority and local councils as well as local businesses and voluntary groups. My role was a co-ordinator of the whole festival including developing partnerships and submitting funding bids. I did this for 2 years.
