Get Involved – for Sussex County ASA
The first step was to understand what they didn’t already know about the problem. Volunteers were asked to complete a questionnaire that asked about their views on volunteering, what they saw as barriers and how they felt about training etc.
With this information I developed an action plan that addressed many of the issues. Soem aspect were beyond my remit and needed to be addressed by the organisation. My role was to develop a campaign to engage new volunteers and also retain existing ones.
To support the campaign I developed strong graphics and a variety of material across various electronic and traditional platforms.
